Assuming there are no Amish reading this post, we all are aware that last night was the 80th anniversary of the Academy Awards. The awards show added a touch more glamour and nostalgia to the broadcast in light of their eighth decade of broadcast, but as always the night revolved around the celebration of this past year's best film art. Unlike ceremonies of years past, this year's Oscars ceremony was relatively quiet in the sense of a lack of dramatic upsets.
